With an extreme love of photography and a passion for

storytelling, our journey began. A combination of a spark 

of insanity (or maybe a moment of complete bravery) 

and unrelenting friendship helped our business idea 

take flight.

 

In our first year as photography students we discussed that

photographers are like birds (a rather strange conclusion we guess but one none the less) and when many of them 

come together a birdhouse would be the perfect place

to accommodate them all (we also all had a rather stange obsession with wood) and in these moments between

assignments and laughs and loving photography The Bird House was born, better than we could have ever guessed and more than we could have hoped for.

 

Our business consists of 3 artistic individuals

namely Delmarie, Nomsa & Tiaan all with our 

own unique approach to photography.

We believe that our collaboration of styles offers

our clients a wider variety in coverage of their  precious moments. Our work ethic invloves natural

posing in addition to documentary photography to allow our clients the freedom to convey their true personalities as

we capture their emotions in moments as they unfold. We live for moments, true and unfiltered,

we love love and we find joy in others laughter. 

 

We capture the essence of people, the raw and authentic moments, because that is what resonates with our hearts and whole beings. We try to inspire and promote the 

hope of love and joy with our photography, to tell stories

 and not just take photos. And with a National Diploma in Photography we feel confident in our ability to capture

 these moments for you and to leave you with an experience.

 

Therefore we want to be the narrator of your story, give

you photos that will become part of your everyday life,

give you a thousand moments that can be revisited and

relived at any time in your life. Moments to share and 

reminisce over, maybe even brag a little about.
